Hello,
My name is Tom Owens and I am qualified to degree standard in Multimedia Arts and Animation, I have over 3 years industry experience and as part of my Freelance provider Partnership, involving myself and two other Partner- Designers we can provide individual freelance service as well as collaborative work.
I am a talented New Media artist comprising expert knowledge of Flash MX & 8 as well as Action Script level 1 &2. I have extensive knowledge of leading 3D applications that work well with Flash including Maya, MAX and mainly Swift 3D. I have of course fundamental knowledge of PHP database scripts particularly were it relates to Flash, and I have thorough knowledge of of HTML, XML and HTML orientated practices, including Search Engine Optimization.
I am also an accomplished Graphic designer having extensive knowledge of leading vector based and non-vector based programs including Photoshop CS2 and Fireworks.
I have at late been involved in mainly building small business Flash site for businesses in the Merseyside area, as a result this comprises the largest part of my portfolio.
We have however recently been responsible for the development of two pub quiz games, known as SWP games for an industry leading licencing company named Scorpion Games Development with who we have maintained a good working relationship. Although due to copyright concerns we are limited in how we can promote our selves in this arena or promote our selves with the use of these games.
